The newest Policy Brief from our Policy Team looks into climate migration to and within the European Union (EU), by investigating current legislative frameworks, migrant origins and destinations and recommends policy solutions to protect and welcome climate migrants & refugees into Global North states.
Forced To Flee recommend a new legal policy framework for the international community in-line with the Special Rapporteur's recommendations and a complementary European legislations for the Qualification Directive and a Temporary Protection Directive to address the identified protection gap.
