Role Description
As a Volunteer Trustee, you will play a pivotal role in the governance and strategic direction of Forced To Flee. You will work collaboratively with fellow trustees to ensure the organisation operates effectively, upholds its mission, and adheres to its core values. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on global refugee advocacy and youth engagement, and support Forced To Flee's registration process.
Key Responsibilities
Person Specification
This position is available for persons aged 18-30, and previous experience in charity management and governance is desirable. All Trustees must be eligible to hold office under the Charities Act 2011 and the Forced To Flee Constitution.
Time Commitment
Trustees are expected to attend biannual board meetings (held virtually) and participate in any sub-committee meetings as required. The estimated time commitment is approximately 4-5 hours per month.
