What is the UNHCR?
The UNHCR (United Nations High Commission for Refugees) is an international organisation set up by the United Nations in 1950. The Commission helps to re-settle, advocate and ensure the well-being of refugees all over the globe. The UNHCR has bases all over the world, with their main headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. The UNHCR is an amazing organisation and their staff work tirelessly to help refugees around the world. Forced To Flee are proud to support the UNHCR's work.
Forced To Flee X UNHCR UK
As a result of an amazing £550+ Forced To Flee has raised for UNHCR UK in support of their amazing work, Forced To Flee's Founder, Aryan Sanghrajka, was invited to UNHCR UK. He met people from all departments and even spoke to the UNHCR's Representative to the United Kingdom, Ms Rosella Pagliuchi-Lor. As a result, Aryan learnt about how the UNHCR operate and how to get more people involved. Forced To Flee X UNHCR was published earlier this year on International Women's Day 2020, watch the exclusive interview now.
